Foundation For the Orphanage of the Virgin of Guadalupe (FOVG) is a  501(c)(3) non-profit and tax exempt organization with Federal tax ID #91-2142480. FOVG was founded in 2001 by Mike DeMinter and his wife, Amie, who on multiple occasions, visited the orphanage located the Philippines. Both Mike and Amie saw for themselves the needs and witnessed the operations of the orphanage and SMAHE. To better assist in providing for the needs of the orphanage and SMAHE. FOVG has placed itself under the directorship of the Orphanage of the Virgin of Guadalupe (OVG)..

SMAHE (Sons and Sisters of Mary and Adorers of  the Holy Eucharist), a semi-contemplative twin religious congregation for
priests and brothers or nuns was inspired by the Holy Spirit when a 36 year old Filipino priest had his first audience with the Venerable John Paul II in October 1985 at His Holiness' office inside the Vatican in Rome. In 1986, guided by the Blessed Virgin Mary coupled with the permission and blessing by Bishop Celso Guevarra, the Sisters congregation was
founded; followed quickly (in 1988) by the congregation for the Priests and Brothers.

SMAHE's mission is to "bring Jesus to the people and the people  to Jesus."  As such, they operate schools for the poor throughout Southern  Luzon, Samar, and Leyte.  Currently, these schools include: 1 Seminary, 1 High  School, 4 Kindergardens, and 4 Pre-schools.  All school materials are provided  through charitable donations. SMAHE nuns also operate the Orphanage of the Virgin of Guadalupe (OVG).  Founded in 1990, the orphanage accepts abandoned, neglected, abused, and homeless children. These children are guaranteed food, lodging, clothing, schooling and medicine as long as they remain a part of the orphanage.
Support for Seminarians.  SMAHE needs financial support to sustain the priestly education of its 63 seminarians.  Monthly food
and lodging alone currently stand at $100 per seminarian.
